It can be a daunting task to pick the right travel insurance plan for your needs. To help you make a better informed decision when purchasing travel insurance, we have summarized each of our TRIPs plans below:

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Plan: This plan is designed to provide benefits for sudden and unforeseen covered events that would cause you to cancel your trip before your departure date or interrupt your trip during the period of coverage.

Emergency Medical Plan: This plan provides benefits for emergency medical, hospital and dental services due to an unforeseen accident or illness.

All Inclusive Canada and All Inclusive Worldwide Plans: These plans speak for themselves! They offer a wide range of coverages including emergency medical coverage, trip cancellation/interruption, trip delay, baggage/personal items benefits, travel accident coverage, and more. The main difference between the two plans is that the All Inclusive Worldwide Plan provides coverage for any worldwide destination.

Annual Plans (15 or 30-day options) Plan: These plans are cost-effective for frequent travellers and cross-border shoppers. The annual plans provide coverage for the first 15 or 30 days of each trip you make in a year. We offer annual plan options for our Emergency Medical and All Inclusive Worldwide plans.

Airflight Accident Plan: This covers passengers for airflight accident up to $500,000. This includes coverage for boarding and alighting an aircraft maintained by a scheduled airline. This coverage extends to land or water conveyance provided at the expense of the air carrier in place of the aircraft, or as direct transportation to or from the aircraft/airports used by the scheduled airline.

Baggage and Personal Effects Plan: This plan provides benefits for baggage and/or personal effects that are lost, stolen, damaged or delayed due to a covered event during the period of coverage.

Rental Vehicle Damage Protection Plan: This plan provides up to $50,000 coverage for the loss or damage of a rental vehicle. Both the rental vehicle and this coverage must be purchased through the same licensed Canadian travel agency from which the covered trip is purchased.

24/7 Lite: The 24/7 Lite plan offers travelling Canadians a lighter version of the All Inclusive Plan option, offering both medical and non-medical coverages. Emergency medical coverage is provided up to $250,000 and trip cancellation and trip interruption is up to the sum insured. This plan is available for those up to the age of 69 and no medical questionnaire is required for trips under $15,000.
